Full job description

Our client is a leading asset management firm with over $5 billion  in pension funds, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, central banks, and insurance companies. This individual will design and manage various technology projects for the firm’s portfolio companies and will require some office presence in NYC and periodic travel to portfolio companies as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Creation of metrics and checkpoints to measure the completion and effectiveness of technology initiatives
• Implementation of best-practice PMO methodology, promoting an Agile mindset and a culture of continuous improvement
• Ensuring alignment between internal strategic objectives for the respective PC, the priorities of PC’s leadership, and the delivery team; raising flags in case of misalignment in expectations or potential risks in project plans
• Providing project management and leadership support in case of personnel changes mid-project in PCs with limited technology resources internally
• Create reports on project objectives, scope and planning

Requirements:

• 10-12 years of relevant experience, minimum of 5+ years formal project management work experience in support of business(es) in the consumer goods, industrials, gaming, hospitality and/or diversified services industries
• Extensive background overseeing variety of technical projects within areas such as ERP implementations, data warehousing, digital transformations, cyber security, automation, and more
• Proven digital project management skills and hands-on support of digital campaigns, has worked in environments driven by e-commerce or digital marketing
• PMP certification or SAFe
• Experience designing and adhering to project budgets
• Ability and willingness to travel

Salary Range:

$200,000 – $275,000
